Han entered the publishing world in 2006 with her debut novel Shug, a coming of age story about a girl named Shug going into junior high. Han didn't stop there and has since published Clara Lee, The Summer I Turned Pretty trilogy and the Burn For Burn trilogy (with fellow author Siobhan Vivian).
