A few weekends ago I went to my local outlet mall and had a chance to check out Book Warehouse. It was like being in a physical version of the Book Outlet. They had a ton of series titles and their romance section was well stocked and decorated with flower petals. I give them props for respecting romance. Anywho, all the books were 10-80% off and I had to limit myself.
The Virgin Diet Cook Book by JJ Virgin
So, I’m hoping to kick myself into better shape and I think finding new and healthy recipes is key. Originally, I just bought this book for the meal ideas but the “Drop 7 foods, 7 pounds in 7 days” challenge looks like something I might try even though I’m not looking to lose weight so fast.
Blue Eyed Devil by Lisa Kleypas
This seems to be a classic and highly recommended romance. I sometimes listen to J.D Robb’s In Death series on CD and there is something about the way the music plays out at the end of a CD that feels like you are binge watching a show while driving.
Rivited by Meljean Brook
I liked the narrative of Brook’s series (with a few reservations) but the hero made me so mad. I’ve seen this book recommended a lot and this is a great Steampunk cover that doesn’t look too cheesy or Photoshopped.
