  • Harry Potter fans rejoice ! J.K. Rowling is working on the screenplay for a film based on the Potter-verse textbook , Fantastic Beast and Where To Find Them. A version of the book was published for Comic Relief in 2001
  • Robert Zemeckisis in talks to direct the film adaptation of Patrick Ness’ Chaos Walking trilogy
  • Filming of City of Ashes, the second book in the Mortal Instrument series, has been halted. Many suspect this may have do with the first film’s performance at the box office.

  • Two YA series won’t be forever alone. Maggie Stiefivater’s Shiver seriesand Kami Garcia and Margaret Stohl’s Beautiful Creatures series will continue in spin-off novels focusing on characters in the original books
