Stacking The Shelves Vol. 6

When Shannon over at River City Reading pointed me to I was so excited to see a library book sale was happening in our area this weekend ! I'd been to a few where I found maybe one or two books, but at this sale I  found all these amazing books for $6.25.

  • Deep Kiss Of Winter by Gena Showalter and Kresley Cole (Paranormal Romance novellas)
  • A Fest of Crows (#4) Games of Thrones by George R. R. Martin
  • Tears of A Tiger by Sharon Draper (my favorite version of the cover)
  • If I Stay by Gale Forman
  • Monster by Walter Dean Meyers
  • The Man Who At The 747 by Ben Sherwood (I read this in high school, so I want to re-read it)
  • Shadow Kiss (#3) by Richelle Mead
  • Dream Lake (#3) by Lisa Kleypas
  • A Curious Incident of A Dog In The Night by Mark Haddon
  • Outlander by Diana Gabaldon (They are making this into a mini series on Starz and I've heard good things)
  • Digital Fortress by Dan Brown (One of my faves of D-Brizzle)

I also grabbed The Book Thief from TJ maxx. (in case you were wondering if my Build a Blog On A Budget Post really works)

And of course Kat ordered Champion (Legend #3) when it was released along with The Night Film by Marisha Pessl

What did you get ? Leave links !

  1. Wow, all of those books for only $6.25? There's no better feeling than getting a ton of books at a bargain price. I've been dying to read The Book Thief. Hopefully I can before the movie comes out! I hope you enjoy all you got :)

    Here's my STS!

  2. So glad the library sale worked out so well for you! That site keeps getting me in trouble, because there are sales almost every weekend :)

  3. Night Film is one of my favorite books, like seriously, of all time. I reallllly hope you like it!

  4. I'm reading The Book Thief now! Ugh, it's so good! And I want to see the movie soon too!

  5. I have the first Outlander book too, but I've yet to actually read it. From everything I've heard I think I'll really like it. It's just that it's such a big book it's a little intimidating to get started.

  6. awesome books jess! i can't wait to read champion myself. happy reading :)

thanks for stopping by my StS/Sunday post :)

  7. Wow, great haul of books! Lots of my favorite books there, including GRRM and Diana Gabaldon. I need to pick up a copy of Champion soon and Night Film is on my wishlist, interested to see what you think of that.

Enjoy all your new books and happy reading :)

  8. Nice haul. Happy reading :)

  9. You got some great books at some great prices. Come see what I got at Inside of a Dog and Ms. Martin Teaches Media if you get a chance. Happy reading!

  10. So many good titles! I never knew about that site for book sales. Unfortunately I live out in the middle of nowhere at this time, but we are moving next year so good to know! Enjoy your reading this week.

  11. Great haul! I just finished The Book Thief (read with a box of tissues!). If I Stay is amazing as so is the VA series. Happy reading and thanks for stopping by!

  12. Wow looks like you stocked up! :) So many great finds!!! P.S. If you're in RVA, you should join :)

  13. I love used books! I don't care how bedraggled they may look; it shows how many times they've been read, loved or hated even. I really should do this as well. In fact, I'll go a-hunting this weekend. :)

  14. Lisa Kleypas! I LOVE her books, especially her historical romances. (This is a hint to try out some of them if you haven't already. :P)

And ahh, The Book Thief! I'm very ashamed to say that I still haven't read that one yet. ):
