If you don't know what Bout of Books is check it out here
Yay, it's that time of the year again ! This is my 4th Bout of Books. My strategy this time is to read the shorter books on my shelf. Nick and Norah is only about 200 pages ! This is kind of a clandestine list of books I plucked off my shelf, but I've been meaning to get to them. I also added a bonus list of books from the library I need to get through.
Usually I kind of bow out of Bout of Books early, but I feel like I've been in training for Bout of Books 5.0 ! Lately I've been reading 3-4 books a week, so I'm going to challenge myself this time. I'll be doing my updates on Goodreads and Twitter.

Great list of books. I haven't read any of them except for Incarnate. Good luck and have fun!

Good luck, I'm sure this will be the best one yet!
ReplyDeleteThis is a really great list! I am going to be joining too. August is the month of read-a-thons and bookish events for me I guess. I'm doing the wrap up summer read-a-thon now and also netgalley knockout and review copy clean (both month long events) but bout of books is the first read-a-thon that I have ever participated in so it hold a special place in my heart. haha
ReplyDeletegood luck!
I hope this one goes well for you! I'm totally jealous of Carnival of Souls, I've heard fantastic things about that book so far! :) I hope you can read all your books in time!
ReplyDeleteI usually put a few short books on my list too, so I can get excited when I finish them fast. :)
ReplyDeleteHope you manage your goals and keep going till the end of Bout of Books

ReplyDeleteI hope you enjoy Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist- I loved it and it is a quick read. The Jay Asher books have been on my TBR list for a while. I hope you enjoy your picks! I have a few very short books on my Bout of Books list too.
ReplyDeleteGood luck and enjoy! Nick and Norah is a fun read. I'm also reading Carnival of Souls for this bout.

Awesome choices! Good luck! By the way, I am a follower now.
ReplyDeleteTwo of those books I read in my book club, Thirteen Reasons Why and Nick and Nora. Both are good!! Here is what I plan to read: Bout of Books Angie
ReplyDeleteGreat list! I've had Nick and Nora on my tbr list forever and since you said it's only about 200 pages I might have to add it to my Bout of Books list. I'm a slow reader so short books are always a plus for read-a-thons! Good luck with your goals! :-)
ReplyDeleteHey i'm doing this read-a-thon too :). And i'm a new follower now !
ReplyDeleteThat's a great list ! I can't wait to read Carnival of souls I heard amazing things about this book.
I just saw your bonus additions. You want to reread Vampire Academy or you haven't started it yet? Because if you haven't you must do it now :p it's my favorite YA series ever !
I hope you'll enjoy reading all these books.
Happy reading !
