Happy New Year! It’s that time of the year again where Jess and I share the 22 books we can’t wait for in 2022. This list is a range of everything including anticipated sequels, romcoms, twisty crime thrillers and also somehow two ghost hunter romances ?!

1. To Paradise by Hana Yanigahara (1/11)
A Generational saga set in an alternate U.S – Jess

2. Real Easy by Marie Rutkowski (1/18)
Another YA author makes the plunge into adult fiction. This historical mystery is set during ‘The late 90s’ – Jess

3. Light Years from Home by Mike Chen during (1/25)
This book sounds weird so I want to read it. – Jess

4. The Good Girl Complex by Elle Kennedy (2/1)
This hockey romance will be Kennedy’s first traditionally published book in a while – Jess

5. Hunt The Stars by Jessie Mihalik (2/1)
Mihalik has a knack for sci-fi adventure romance. Can’t wait to see what this series brings- Jess

6. League of Liars by Astrid Scholte (2/22)
It’s a breakout heist book ! It’s not a matter of if but when this will be compted to SOC – Jess

7. Gallant by V.E. Schwab (3/1)
Schwab makes her YA comeback – Jess

8. Hook, Line, and Sinker by Tessa Bailey (3/1)
I couldn’t get past a name in the first book so I’m ready to dive into this popular series at book #2 -Kat

9. The Book of Cold Cases by Simone St. James (3/15)
A true-crime blogger investigates a cold case – Jess

10. Nine Lives by Peter Swanson (3/15)
This reminds me of Death Note – Jess

11. The League of Gentlewomen Witches by India Holton (4/26)
Holton will be re-imagining her house flying magic in a new society – Kat

12.The City of Dusk by Tara Sim 3/22)
Tara Sim makes her adult debut in what sounds like a portal fantasy – Kat

13. I’ll Come Back for You by Charish Reid (3/24)
Ghost hunter romance! – Kat

14. Dig Two Graves by Gretchen McNeil (3/29)
I’ve seen this described as YA Strangers On A Train – Jess
