I may be in the minority, but I love paperbacks !They are easy to fit in your purse or hold in one hand while enjoying a reading snack. Lately, I've noticed  some books get a little make over when they become paperback

  1. Oh my gosh, Beautiful Chaos is looking cooler as a paperback. And in Shine, I don't really like the enlarged text. I actually might have to go out and buy that book, I heard it was good.

    Thanks for the great post!

    1. The paperback comes out this summer, I believe. Just a few months !

  2. I always notice Jude Deverauax's book covers are different from Hardback to Paperback. I usually like the paperback versions best. And nope, I'm a paperback girl too. Hardcover are more expensive, bigger and heavier, and they hurt my hands eventually. So a paperback is perfect for me.

  3. I always prefer a paperback over a hardback! I hardly have any hardbacks in my collection. They are more expensive and they are much heavier, so I hardly buy them :)

    1. Up until I started buying new releases, I never had any hard cover novels in my collection. Now that I have started blogging I have a lot more of them. I do like the embossed text though.

  4. I'm actually prefer hard covers more because they don't ruin easily, but lately, I have been ALLLL about e-books<3 I actually like the older cover of Shine, the paperback one is to... obnoxious. Too IN YOUR FACE? you know? But I LOVE the new Lock & Key and Paper towns. Great feature :)

  5. i love paperbacks, too! so easy to carry around and are a good size. i like the new paper towns paperback a lot. i am not sure why covers change from hc to pb. usually i wish they'd just stay the same.

  6. For Shine, I feel like the hardcover is a *tad* too bare, but that the paperback is a bit too crowded, lol. I like the hardcover edition of Beautiful Chaos more, and with both Paper Town and Lock and Key, I like the paperback covers more. Fun feature :)
